I purchased locally grown sunflowers with the intention
of drawing them too soon they had "gone by."
My cocker spaniel, resting her head on the table,
makes this one of my favorite prints.
The dog's face, so alive, is a powerful yet subtle contrast
to the dead sunflowers.
